24/7 Dads

24/7 Dads is a fatherhood development group, where young fathers and fathers-to-be can come together, talk, share concerns and learn about how to be a quality father to their child/children.

The 24/7 Dads is a 12 week, curriculum guided program but is not a class.  The environment is more like a group of guys, who are learning about and growing in the most significant role we will ever be in.

Some Topics Covered:

• Family of Origin

• Masculinity

• Understanding Yourself

• Handling & Expressing Emotions

• Fathering and Family Roles

• Fathering and Culture

• Balancing Work and Family

• Getting Involved With Your Children

The evening will start at 6:30 p.m. with FOOD!  Then discussion and presentation of the week’s topic and will end at 8:00 p.m. promptly.

Each 24/7 Dad’s group will have at least one facilitator for the meetings.  24/7 Dads is supported through the New Mexico GRADS Program helping pregnant and parenting teens finish high school.
